This project implements all main principles in the interior design approach of Ohra Studio - such as minimalism, natural color palette and natural materials.

Ohra Studio was approached by clients who desired a minimalist approach to their interior design. The team worked closely with the clients to create a space that captured the essence of modern London. The design focused on the essentials, resulting in a light and airy space that exudes calmness and tranquillity.

To achieve this, Ohra Studio utilised a restrained material palette and neutral colours to create a peaceful atmosphere. Carefully curated art and furniture provided a subtle visual interest, while wooden elements and clean lines added warmth and richness. The large windows allowed natural light to flood the space, creating a serene ambience.

In line with our approach, we prioritized the essential things in our client’s lifestyle, such as the piano for their home musical events. The living room, kitchen, and dining area feature concrete floors, while the bedrooms and family rooms are finished with a warmer palette of wood and white paint to bring a sense of comfort. American walnut panels were used on several walls to create a sense of privacy without sacrificing natural light.

The kitchen is a pure and clean icon of minimalism, made from natural materials without any nonessential detail. This allows the clients to fill it up with food, guests, and conversations. The kitchen connects with the main space of the living area, which is divided into two parts – the piano area and the relaxation zone near the fireplace.

Minimalist interior Design Approach

The project implements all the main principles of Ohra Studio’s interior design approach, including minimalism, natural colour palettes, and natural ecological materials. Iconic furniture and thoughtful art placement were also used to enhance the overall design of the residence, emphasizing simplicity and comfort. Notably, the Yumi Sofa and marble coffee table by Stahl+Band, the Androgyne Dining Table, the Wireline Suspension Lamp by Flos, and the Oliver Watts painting all contribute to the unique and refined aesthetic of the space.
