About Us

Base Interior’s reputation has been built on visionary design concepts and a talent for colour, texture, detail and spatial design. A gift for inspiring and refining client tastes and working to create bespoke interiors that exceed expectations, whilst managing the process from concept to completion, sets us apart.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

A harmonious balance of creative designers, inspired architects and meticulous project coordinators.

Our team is multi-disciplined and driven by the same goal; to thoroughly exceed expectations.

Our comprehensive design service incorporates all aspects of interior architecture and interior decoration. Attention to detail in design is then carried through to allow us to create breath-taking results.

OUR PROCESS

STAGES A-E:
APPRAISAL, BRIEF, CONCEPT,
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT, TECHNICAL
DESIGN & SPECIFICATION
A preliminary meeting is arranged for you to discuss the project with us. This enables us to prepare a scope of work and letter of appointment.

Upon appointment, feasibility studies will follow which will help us to work out a discussion budget, time schedule and to put together a team of consultants, as required.

We will then focus on the design brief, exploring how the interior scheme is best approached and creating concepts ready for presentation. If we have understood your aspirations correctly then these initial concepts can be signed off and we can move on to the design development phase.

Once the full design has been presented and approved, the technical design can then be completed.

STAGE F-H:
PRODUCT INFORMATION,
TENDER DOCUMENTATION & ISSUE,
TENDER ACTION & CONTRACTOR
APPOINTMENT
These stages allow us to put the planning and design phases into action.

By collating the design and product information and detailing the scope of work for the various contractors, the tender responses will be as accurate and complete as possible, enabling budgets and schedules to be forecast realistically.

Once tender responses have been received, we will help you to select the best contractor for the job, as well as administering their contract and agreeing a schedule for the project.
