The Funktional Kitchens' design service begins with an initial planning appointment in one of our showrooms. Your input into the design process starts right here at the beginning, where we discuss in detail your personal needs and tastes. We will also give you an estimation of how much your project is likely to cost before arranging a site visit to your home. Once we have measurements, we create a Computer Aided Design of your new kitchen. We can show you several alternate versions to help you decide and will provide a full breakdown of costs. Once ordered, your kitchen usually takes about six weeks until it is ready for installation.

Our Process
1. Free Plan and Design Service
Bring the basic measurements of your kitchen to our showroom. Our designers will talk you through our range of products and services, taking note of your budget and all your requirements. We then suggest a variety of options for you to choose from for your kitchen, including furniture, appliances, worktop, and splashback. You will have the opportunity to look at our samples, feel the quality and see which colours, tones and textures could work. No two kitchens are the same, so we design to suit the space and more importantly, a solution that is personal to you.

2. See Before You Buy
Once we have designed your kitchen, we will invite you back to view the visuals. This is the fun part; using the latest 3D design software, we can guide you around the space in virtual reality. You can see all of your chosen products married together with your colour options. We will run through the interior of each cupboard and drawer to make sure you have the required kitchen storage solutions. At this stage, our experienced designers can very often make on the spot changes and tweak the plans. We also provide an extensive quote with itemised price list of every component in the kitchen, so you can see exactly how competitive we are.

3. Placing Your Order
When you have decided on the final kitchen design, the rest is up to us. We will visit your home to take accurate measurements. Once the final design is signed off, we order everything from our suppliers and usually deliver to you within 6-8 weeks. A few of our ranges can take a little longer but we also have some kitchen furniture available in under six weeks, if you opt for supply only. Our professional staff are with you all the way from concept to completion of your beautiful new kitchen.
